Tatapani (35kms)
A perfect place to relax and heal your body in the hot sulphur water spring. Its a small village situated in the banks of river Satluj. It has some beautiful sand walks and colorful round stones. I nice place for river side pick-nik.
Mahunag Temple (12 kms)
Its a famous ancient Naag (cobra) temple. Every year durung the month of May a big fair is organised and that's when you can witness the remarkable appearance of the king cobra.
Shikari Maata Temple (16 kms trek)
A perfect get away from civilization into the laps of divinity at a high altitude of more then 3000 mts. Its not easy trek of almost all day if you not regular trekker or 5 hrs trek. Once reached on top you can witness heaven (spiritually) with snow clawed mountains on one side and a deep valley covered with beautiful flowers and pine trees. Its a picture perfect view. A must visit who dare walk for hours.
Saror Goofa (Shiva cave temple) 25 kms
This is yet another paradise a little far from tata pani. Its was found lately by some local and soon became a popular picnic joint and spiritual place. It has a beautiful scenic due to its location in a narrow gauge and a stream. A nice place to spend a sunny day and go deep into meditation as the place has really good positive energy.
Karsog valley (24 kms)
Lush green valley with lots of streams flowing by in this village. It is also the nearest big town. You can get almost every thing that you would expect in Shimla.
